During the colonial times prisons were set up in secluded areas, usually the islands to keep the evil away from the good. Prisoners were left stranded on that isolated land, but today try keeping your electronic gadgets away for a day and you would feel no less than those prisoners. Companies have very smartly developed products for every activity of our day, right from morning workout to the sleep and we have unfortunately blindly fallen prey to them. And the blood to these gadgets and devices is the internet. What if we didn’t have any plug points on the planet, I know this sounds too unnatural but that could lead to an electronic apocalypse. While travelling in a metro rail in Hong Kong, I was abashed by the sight of absolute human ignorance. People even some meters apart preferred communicating over some gadget and it was scary to see that though the rail was crowded but very silent because gadgets don’t make noise but can still communicate.

Though they have contributed their fair share to improving processes, bringing accuracy and cutting off the trivial tasks to optimize the core areas, they have also led to memory disparagement, curbing creativity and incapability to work independently.
